RealHaus Privacy Policy

Last updated October 14, 2026

RealHaus Ltd. ("RealHaus," "we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and retain personal information, and how you can contact us about your information and privacy choices.

1 Who and what this policy covers

This policy applies to information handled by RealHaus Ltd. through TheRealHaus.com and other pages that link to this policy, and through our brokerage services, forms, emails, texts, phone communications, events, and in-person interactions. It covers our agents, employees, and contractors when acting on our behalf.

Covered activities include RealHaus residential brokerage; ApartmentHaus apartment locating, leasing support, marketing, and staffing activities conducted by RealHaus; VentureHaus commercial brokerage and business consulting; and MortgageHaus inquiries, marketing, and referral activities for which RealHaus controls the information.

Independent landlords, property managers, lenders, listing platforms, and other businesses maintain their own privacy practices. Mortgage applications and regulated financial services may be subject to separate notices, as explained below. Separate notices provided for a particular program or employment relationship supplement this policy or govern where they expressly state that they do.

2 Information we collect and why

The information we collect depends on your relationship with us and the services you request.

Contact and communication information. Your name, email, phone number, mailing address, preferred communication method, and messages help us respond, maintain contact records, and coordinate appointments and services.

Property and service preferences. Your purchase or rental budget, preferred locations, property interests, move timeline, household needs, pet and parking needs, and showing or search activity help us identify properties and coordinate tours. Commercial and consulting inquiries can include your company, role, space requirements, and business objectives.

Transaction and qualification information. Depending on the transaction, we receive agreements, offers, disclosures, signatures, identification or verification details, proof of funds or preapproval, financial qualification information, and transaction correspondence. We use this information to provide representation, coordinate the transaction, document services and compensation, and satisfy legal and professional obligations.

Recruiting and event information. Information you provide about your professional background, licensing, availability, and qualifications helps us evaluate recruitment, training, or staffing inquiries. Event registration details and communication preferences help us manage attendance and requested follow-up.

Website and device information. Website systems collect technical information such as IP address, browser and device details, approximate location inferred from IP address, referring pages, pages viewed, timestamps, and interactions. We use this information to operate and secure the website and understand its performance. The cookies and advertising section describes related technologies and choices.

We collect information directly from you and your authorized representatives; through website technologies; and from sources relevant to your request, including referral partners, cooperating brokers, property managers, lenders, transaction providers, public property records, and listing services. We also keep records of communication preferences, consent, and privacy requests.

3 Sensitive information

Some transaction or accommodation information may be sensitive, including government identification details, financial records, or information revealing a disability or health condition. We limit requests for this information to legitimate service or legal needs and obtain consent where required. We do not need sensitive information for a general property inquiry.

Please do not submit Social Security numbers, full bank account numbers, identification documents, or medical records through general website forms, social media, or ordinary text messages. Contact your representative for the appropriate document-submission method. When providing another person's information, make sure you have authority to do so.

4 How we use information

In addition to the purposes described above, we use relevant personal information to:

Provide brokerage, locating, commercial, consulting, and requested referral services; manage listings, tours, offers, agreements, and closings; and maintain client and business relationships.

Send service updates and respond to questions, requests, complaints, and privacy inquiries.

Send property updates, newsletters, event invitations, and information about our services, subject to your choices and any required consent.

Administer business operations, compensation, recruiting, staffing, training, and service quality.

Detect fraud or misuse, protect people and systems, meet recordkeeping and regulatory obligations, and establish or defend legal claims.

Where a new use requires additional notice or consent, we provide that notice or obtain consent before beginning the new use. Visiting our website or reading this policy does not itself constitute consent to marketing texts or other processing that requires separate consent.

5 How we disclose information

We disclose information relevant to the purposes below, subject to confidentiality obligations, your instructions, and applicable law.

RealHaus personnel. Agents, employees, and contractors working on your inquiry or transaction receive relevant contact, preference, communication, and transaction information.

Service providers. Providers supporting website hosting, customer relationship management, electronic signatures, transaction management, document storage, communications, scheduling, and technical support process the information needed to perform those services. Relevant data can include contact details, communications, documents, technical data, and consent records. Providers acting on our behalf are required to protect information and use it for authorized purposes.

Transaction and referral participants. When relevant to your requested service, contact details, property preferences, qualification information, and transaction documents are disclosed to cooperating brokers, sellers, buyers, landlords, property managers, builders, lenders, title or escrow companies, inspectors, appraisers, attorneys, and other transaction participants. We obtain authorization where required. A referral does not authorize unrelated third-party marketing.

Staffing and recruitment recipients. When you request a staffing placement or introduction, we disclose relevant contact details, professional background, licensing, and availability to the prospective client or employer involved in that opportunity.

Listing and marketing platforms. For authorized property marketing, listing information, property addresses, photographs, videos, and permitted transaction information may be submitted to multiple listing services, property portals, and advertising publishers. Public listing material can be copied or retained by independent recipients under their own rules and legal obligations.

Legal and business recipients. Relevant information may be disclosed to regulators, courts, law enforcement, insurers, auditors, and professional advisers when legally required or otherwise permitted to protect rights, investigate wrongdoing, or resolve disputes. Information may also be transferred in a merger, acquisition, reorganization, or sale of business assets, subject to applicable protections and notice requirements.

For disclosures beyond these purposes, we provide additional notice or obtain your consent when required. Advertising-related disclosures must be read together with the next section.

6 Cookies advertising and browser privacy controls

Cookies and analytics. Our website is hosted on Squarespace. We use cookies, pixels, and similar technologies for essential website functions, preferences, analytics, and advertising. Google Analytics helps us understand website traffic and interactions. Information processed through these tools includes online identifiers, device and browser details, pages viewed, referral sources, interaction events, and approximate location. Some providers receive IP addresses to deliver their services, even where those addresses are not retained in analytics reports.

Advertising and retargeting. We use Google Ads and Meta advertising tools, including the Meta Pixel, to measure campaign performance and show RealHaus advertisements to people who have interacted with our website. Google and Meta receive online identifiers and website activity, such as pages viewed and advertising or conversion events, through these tools. They may associate this activity with information from their own services and other websites, subject to their privacy policies and your choices.

No sale or rental of leads. RealHaus does not sell or rent leads or customer lists, and we do not provide those lists to outside businesses for their independent marketing. The advertising-related disclosures described above can nevertheless constitute a "sale," "sharing," or processing for "targeted advertising" under certain state privacy laws, even without a monetary payment. Applicable opt-out rights extend to those advertising-related disclosures.

Your cookie and advertising choices. Use the Squarespace cookie banner on our website to accept or decline nonessential cookies, or use Manage Cookies to adjust your preferences. You can revisit your choices through the cookie-preferences control on the site. To opt out of advertising-related sale, sharing, or targeted advertising, disable advertising cookies through that control or email info@therealhaus.com with "Advertising Opt-Out" in the subject line. We apply requests to the information and activities covered by applicable law. Browser-based choices generally apply to that browser or device and may need to be renewed after cookies are cleared or when another browser or device is used.

Browser privacy signals. Where applicable law requires, we honor recognized opt-out preference signals, including Global Privacy Control, as requests to opt out of advertising-related sale, sharing, and targeted advertising for the browser or device sending the signal. Where we can associate a signal with an identified consumer and the law requires it, we also apply the request to that consumer's associated information. Legacy Do Not Track settings are different from Global Privacy Control and are not used as a separate consent mechanism.

Essential cookies remain necessary for website functions. Blocking cookies can affect some features, and opting out of personalized advertising does not stop all advertisements. Embedded maps, videos, and independent listing platforms may also collect information when used; their own privacy notices and settings apply to their independent processing.

7 Email phone and text messages

We use the contact information you provide to respond to your inquiry and coordinate requested services. We send promotional communications subject to applicable law and your communication preferences. You may unsubscribe from marketing emails using the link in the message or contact info@therealhaus.com. You may also ask us to stop marketing calls.

If you enroll in a RealHaus text-message program, messages may include appointment details, property updates, and the other content described when you sign up. Message frequency varies, and message and data rates may apply. Consent to marketing texts is not a condition of purchasing services. Reply STOP to opt out of a text-message program. For assistance, reply HELP where supported or email info@therealhaus.com. You may also contact us to communicate a broader revocation request. We honor legally valid revocations and may send a single nonmarketing confirmation where permitted.

We do not sell or share mobile numbers or text-message opt-in data and consent with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing or promotional purposes. Messaging providers may process this information to support communications on our behalf, and disclosures required by law remain permitted.

A marketing opt-out does not prevent legally permitted, necessary communications about an active transaction or request through an appropriate channel. It does not authorize us to continue texts for which you have revoked consent.

8 MortgageHaus and financial information

MortgageHaus is powered by Industry Home Mortgage Company. This policy covers information RealHaus handles for its own inquiries, marketing, and referral coordination. When you apply for financing or provide information to a mortgage company, lender, bank, or other financing provider, that provider's privacy notice and applicable financial privacy requirements govern its handling of the information.

Loan applications, credit reports, tax returns, and similar financial documents should be submitted through the provider's designated channels. This policy does not replace a required financial privacy notice or provide blanket authorization to share financial records between the brokerage and a financing provider. Each entity must have an appropriate basis for receiving and using the information.

9 Retention and security

We retain information for the period reasonably needed for the purposes described in this policy, considering the nature of the information, our relationship with you, legal obligations, and dispute or security needs. Colorado brokerage transaction records generally must be retained for at least four years after closing, or after expiration of the applicable listing contract when a transaction does not close. Other records or legal holds may require different periods.

A deletion request may therefore leave records that we must or may lawfully retain. We may retain limited suppression and consent records to honor your communication choices. When information is no longer needed, we delete it, de-identify it, or dispose of it securely, subject to lawful retention and backup requirements.

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information and limit access to authorized purposes. No system or transmission method can be guaranteed completely secure. Please contact us promptly if you suspect unauthorized use of your information.

10 Privacy rights and requests

Depending on where you live and whether applicable privacy law covers the information and processing involved, you may have the right to:

Confirm whether we process your personal information and access it.

Correct inaccuracies and request deletion, subject to applicable exceptions.

Obtain a portable copy of eligible information.

Opt out of the sale of personal information, targeted advertising, and certain profiling that produces legal or similarly significant effects.

Withdraw consent for processing that depends on consent, including sensitive-data processing where applicable, without affecting prior lawful processing.

Appeal a denied request and exercise protected rights without unlawful discrimination.

These rights include rights available to Colorado consumers under the Colorado Privacy Act where that law applies. Commercial, employment, and regulated financial information may be governed by different rules or exceptions.

To submit a request, email info@therealhaus.com with "Privacy Request" in the subject line, or write to the address below. Tell us the action you want and enough information to locate your records. You do not need to create an account. Do not include sensitive documents in your initial request. We will explain any additional information reasonably needed to verify an access, correction, or deletion request. An authorized representative may act for you where permitted, subject to appropriate proof of authority.

For requests covered by the Colorado Privacy Act, we respond within 45 days of receipt. If permitted and reasonably necessary, we may extend that period by an additional 45 days and explain the extension within the initial period. Other applicable laws may provide different requirements. If we cannot fulfill all or part of a request, we explain why, subject to legal restrictions.

To appeal, contact the same email or mailing address, identify the decision, and explain your concern; use "Privacy Appeal" in the subject line if emailing. For Colorado Privacy Act appeals, we respond within 45 days, with a permitted extension of up to 60 additional days if reasonably necessary and explained within the initial period. You may also contact the Colorado Attorney General about your concern.

11 Children and minors

Our services and website are intended primarily for adults. We do not knowingly solicit personal information directly from children under 13 through the website. An adult may provide limited information about minor occupants when necessary for a housing service. Where we process information about a known minor, we apply the protections and obtain the consent required by applicable law. Contact us if you believe a child has provided information improperly so we can review and address it.

12 Third parties and processing locations

Our website may link to or embed services operated by independent businesses. Their privacy notices describe their own collection and use of information. Information posted publicly, including reviews or social media comments, may be visible to others. Please avoid posting confidential transaction details.

Information may be processed in the United States and other locations where our service providers operate. Privacy laws can differ by location. We remain responsible for applicable obligations concerning information processed on our behalf.

13 Changes to this policy

We update this policy when our practices or legal requirements change and revise the date above. We provide notice of material changes and obtain additional consent when required. Continued website use does not substitute for consent where the law requires it.
